Tuesday June 4th, 7pm-10pm: Election Night Party for Anjali!
We are so excited to invite you and your friends and neighbors to our official election night party, Tuesday June 4th, from 7-10pm at Flock of Moons, on 111 Harvard Dr SE!
Join us as we celebrate all the incredible work and community building that our volunteers have contributed to the campaign. DJ Leftovers will be spinning on the 1’s and 2’s, and we’ll all enjoy food and drink together (there will be a food truck plus feel free to bring in take-out options from local surrounding businesses).
Sat June 1st and Sun June 2nd Canvassing for GOTV weekend!
We're headed into the last weekend before the election, and we need all hands on deck to help make sure we're turning out as many voters for Anjali as we can. Will you join us for one (or more) of our canvassing events this weekend? We'll pair you up, train you, and prep you with the information you need. We've incredible canvasses each weekend and we've built new friendships and built community from them too. And it's so much fun to talk to neighbors about this campaign. Thank you friends and neighbors! Over 90 supporters joined our Anjali for NM kickoff party!
The event was headlined by some incredible speakers including former Lieutenant Governor and New Mexico icon Diane Denish, inaugural Poet Laureate of Albuquerque Hakim Bellamy, our intrepid MC Gus Pedrotty, Bernalillo County Commissioner Adriann Barboa, Senator Martin Hickey, and Representative Micaela Lara Cadena.
It was an auspicious day, both because of the rainbow outside, and because we caught the last few minutes of the Lobos winning the Mountain West championship! Tremendous thanks to the elected officials, community activists, local luminaries, and to each and every guest who powered the launch. I am humbled and heartened by the wave of love, and I am confident that it will carry us to collective victory.
